Candidates and committees supporting or opposing local measures in the next election must submit campaign finance reports on the schedule set by the state’s Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC), but two It looks like the candidate and one committee missed Thursday’s deadline.
In Nevada County, all filings are submitted electronically through a system called Netfile. Nevada County elections require all candidates to acknowledge their obligation to submit the required campaign disclosure forms. The Candidate Handbook includes a complete calendar and contact information for both FPPC and Netfile. FPPC provides a calendar of local candidates, bills and committees supporting or opposing local candidates.
A second round of pre-election statements was scheduled for October 27 for all candidates and committees that raised or spent $2,000 or more.

District 3 Supervisor
Both Patti Ingram and Lisa Swarthout have filed Form 460s.
Grass Valley City Council
Haven Caravelli is the only person who has filed a Form 460. Hilary Hodge and Matthew Coulter filed a Form 470 in August indicating that they intended to raise/spend below the $2,000 threshold.
Truckee Town Council Town
Anna Klovstad, Jan Zabriskie and Suzie Tarnay submitted their campaign finance statements in Truckee’s Netfile. David Polyby has not submitted a campaign disclosure form for this election cycle on Netfile.
Nevada United Union High School District Trustee Area 1
Both candidates Olivia Pritchett and Jenny Scicluna submitted on time.
Nevada United Union High School District Trustee Area 2
Both candidates Stephanie Leishman and Wendy Willoughby have submitted Form 460s.
Nevada United Union High School District Trustee Area 5
Ken Johnson has submitted his opponent Form 460 Jay Adamson He hasn’t filed a Form 460 or 470 since he ran, according to Netfile.
According to FPPC: Each candidate on the ballot must submit a Form 460 or Form 470. Form 470: Candidates who have not raised or spent more than $2,000 (or plan to raise or spend more than $2,000) in 2022 and do not have a public committee must submit Form 470 by September 29, 2022 can.
Measure V
The Yes on V committee has submitted a Form 460. Americans for Good Government filed a Form 460 opposing Measure V.
Measure W – City of Nevada
The No on Measure W Committee has filed a Form 460. 2022 Nevada City Historic District Commission (W for Yes) has not submitted the campaign finance disclosure forms listed in Netfile.
Political Action Committee (PAC)
The Restoration Coalition PAC donated $2,300 to Peggy Fava, a candidate for the Pleasant Ridge Union School District. Candidate has correctly reported independent spending via Form 497. PAC filed Forms 460 and 497 for the reporting period.
The Nevada County Contractors Association PAC reported independent non-monetary expenditures supporting/against three candidates running for Grass Valley City Council. PAC also received her independent donation of $5,000 from GVC Property 18 LLC.
Americans for Good Government, whose yard signs oppose Measure V, filed Form 460.
The Nevada Joint Union High School Teachers Association PAC has submitted Form 460.
