Editor’s Note: Each month, Sun-News spotlights young entrepreneurs participating in the Cruces Kids Can – Jr. Vendor Program. The Kids Can Program expanded opportunities for program participants by participating in the “Artist, Crafters and Creators Bazaar” at Mesilla Valley Mall. This new program is open to all young people who want to develop their entrepreneurial skills while sharing their unique products with the Las Cruces community. To participate in the Messilah Valley Mall Kids Can Pop-Up Market, vendors must have previously attended one of the following events: After School Programs, Summer Camp Programs, and Business Fair & Contest Events.

Favorite subject and why Mathematics is my favorite subject. Because you can learn how to work with numbers and solve equations.

What do you want to be when you grow up? I want to be an architect and interior designer. I also want to have my own architectural firm.

What is your hobby? I like making art, building structures, dancing, baking and singing.

where did the idea come from? My company name comes from my initials and my goal is to become an architect.

How did you get your inspiration? I was inspired by the goal of having my own business one day.

What motivated you to start your own business? I wanted to sell my art and do what I love.

product: My products consist of paintings, jewelry boxes and pen holders.

Product description: My paintings are inspired by the things I see around me every day. I like to be organized, so I make jewelry boxes and pen holders.

How long does it take to make your product? It usually takes 2-3 weeks to complete the item.

please explain the process: In my paintings, I usually start with a sketch. Then choose a color. Finally, draw and sign your own work. The jewelry box and pen holder are made out of popsicle sticks. Place and glue the sticks. Then draw a picture and sign it.
