G.As prices are trending upwards again, Americabut California citizens are expected to receive relief in the first week of October.

Eligible Californians will automatically receive the specified one-time payment. Middle Class Tax Refund (MCTR) State governments are looking to provide much-needed financial assistance to their citizens.

According to abc30, the average price of a gallon of gas in the state has risen nearly 35 cents since last week, and is as high as $6.29 at some gas stations.

“Primarily, what we are seeing in the western United States is oil refinery problems, with both planned and unplanned maintenance impacting supply.” American Automobile Association (AAA) spokesperson John Trener OK.

Who will receive these direct payments on October 7th?

Individual filers earning $75,000 or less will receive $350, couples earning $150,000 or less will receive $700, and families with at least one dependent will receive an additional $350.

“Direct Deposit MCTR payments for Californians who have received Golden State Stimulus (GSS) I or II will be issued to bank accounts from October 7, 2022 through October 25, 2022, and any remaining Direct Deposit will occur between October 28, 2022 and November 14, 2022,” the California government announced.

“We expect approximately 90% of direct deposits to be issued in October 2022. MCTR debit cards will be available from October 25, 2022 through December 2022 for Californians who received GSS I and II. Expected to be mailed during 10. Remaining MCTR debit cards will be mailed through January 15, 2023.

“By the end of this year, we expect approximately 95% of all MCTR payments, combined direct deposit and debit cards, to be issued.”
