Day’s Jewelers president Joseph Corey has announced the hiring of Nikia Levesque as vice president of marketing for the company’s eight jewelers across Maine and New Hampshire.
Levesque has been with Day’s since he was a teenager, starting his career as a service specialist for the company in Waterville. Since then, her career within the company has only grown. She has worked as her Associate in Sales in both Waterville and Augusta locations, in corporate offices as a Merchandising Intern, Marketing as her Coordinator, and most recently as her Marketing Manager. Levesque holds a BA in International Business and Logistics from the Maine Maritime Academy. When Levesque isn’t doing her job, she enjoys spending time with her family. Levesque lives in Winslow with her fiancé Seamus and dog Willa, according to a news release from the Maine-based company.
Levesque was hired on September 21st and assumed the position on September 22nd. Love for the industry and this company and our people. In her new role, Levesque will provide leadership, guidance and career development training across Day’s marketing team. She is responsible for all branding, marketing, and advertising efforts for the 108-year-old company. Levesque will also oversee Day’s website and e-commerce divisions. Above all, Levesque ensures that Day’s reaches guests new and old with the care and attention one member of her family would provide another.
Levesque will succeed Jeff Corey, former vice president of marketing for Day.
