The Hawaii Tourism Authority has issued a Request for Proposals for Strategic Visitor Education and Destination Brand Marketing and Management Services for the Japanese Market.
Through this procurement process, the agency selects qualified contractors to provide visitor education and brand management services in Japan.
The contractor’s work is Hawaii’s new regenerative tourism, guided by its mission to Mālama Ku’u Home (Care for Our Beloved Home), the Authority’s 2020-2025 Strategic Plan, and community-driven destination management. Support the model. Action plan.
Job performance is measured against key performance indicators in line with the Tourism Board’s strategic plan. This includes an increase in average visitor spend per day and an increase in total visitor spend.

Interested applicants must register their intention to submit proposals at HST by 4:30 pm on October 3.
The new agreement will commence on January 1, 2023 and will replace the current agreement, which is scheduled to end on December 31, 2022.
