Madison, Wisconsin — A fire at a business in north Madison prompted a major emergency response Saturday.

Sun Prairie, DeForest, Waunakee, Marshall, Madison and Cottage Grove crews were dispatched to Block 4600 of Dovetail Drive shortly after 4:15 pm due to a reported commercial fire.

Sun Prairie Assistant Fire Chief Thane Wetermeyer told News 3 that a fire had broken out inside the building. No one was injured and there was no structural damage, but everything in the building was badly damaged or destroyed.

Westermeyer declined to comment on the cause of the fire, but said details would be released later Saturday night.
