This story is not strange. A Beyond Meat executive was accused of biting a man’s nose outside of a football game between the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Missouri State Bears last Saturday in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Doug Ramsey, 52, is the chief operating officer of a vegan meat company. Police reports said there was a problem in the parking lot after the game when a man driving a Subaru tried to inching in front of Ramsey’s Ford Bronco. The driver allegedly hit the front wheel of Ramsey’s car, infuriating Beyond Meat executives.

Police said Ramsey jumped out of the SUV and “smashed through the rear windshield” of the Subaru. When the driver got out of the car to see what was going on, Ramsey “pulled him over and started beating him on the body.” Police also report that he “bite the owner’s nose and tore the flesh off the tip of his nose.”

When police arrived on the scene, they reported finding “two men with bloody faces”.

Police arrested Ramsey on suspicion of terrorism threats and third-degree assault. He is scheduled to appear in Fayetteville District Court on October 19.
